Buy Silver Chupacabra 1 oz Rounds Online

The Chupacabra is a hideous specimen which is common in Latin American folklore that attacks cattle and sucks their blood. The name is derived from the chupar and cabra in Spanish. Chupar meaning "to suck" and cabra meaning "goat." Chupacabras were first recorded in Puerto Rico where goats, sheep and other domestic animals had been attacked, supposedly leaving behind carcasses drained of blood. An early report portrayed a creature standing on two feet and resembling a huge reptilian kangaroo with big red eyes. There have never been any real chupacabras found, but there have been countless other sightings throughout the Americas, with a lot of reports coming from the south. The Chupacabra is defined as the Southern counterpart of the Sasquatch, because they are both mythical creatures that are renowned in their respective regions.

Each Chupacabra Silver Round contains one troy ounce of pure .999 fine silver.

The obverse of these rounds will feature a Chupacabra feasting on the blood of a goat carcass. This depiction of the Chupacabra is based off the eyewitness reports from those who claim to have seen the Chupacabra.

The reverse of these silver rounds features the Intaglio Mint logo, as featured on most other Intaglio Mint rounds. It features a pillar bearing the words “EST. 2010” on it. Behind the pillar is a map of the Earth with “INTAGLIO” above and “MINT” below it. This is surrounded by beautifully crafted lines which are encircled by the words, “TWO TROY OUNCES” & “.999 FINE SILVER”.
