For Those About to Rock is AC/DC’s is the eighth album that they released. It was released on November 23, 1981. It was their first album since the massive success of Back in Black. For Those About to Rock sold over 4 million copies in the United States, and over 7 million in total worldwide, making it the first ever number one album for AC/DC. The album stayed at number one on the Billboard chart for three weeks straight following its release. The two singles from the album “Let’s Get It Up” & “For Those About to Rock” reached #13 & #15 respectively in the U.K. The titular song of the album is so popular with AC/DC fans, that the song has been performed as an encore at almost all of their concerts, accompanied by firing cannons on stage.

These colorized silver coins are made using ½ oz of pure .999 silver bullion. Also, the coin comes in a beautiful black & red AC/DC box as well.

The obverse of this silver coin features the cannon from the album cover. It also has a rustic-looking AC/DC logo below the cannon with “FOR THOSE ABOUT TO ROCK” minted at the bottom of the coin.

The reverse features an updated profile image of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth. It will feature a more recent depiction of Her Majesty, with a circle around her image. Outside the circle are the words “ELIZABETH II”, “COOK ISLANDS”, & “2 DOLLARS”
