The NGC Brown Label Silver Eagles are a staple of many collectors and investors' precious metal portfolios. They are purchased both for wealth preservation purposes and often to complete a set. Graded Silver Eagle premiums often appreciate over time due to their being a limited amount of them being in high grade. This is especially in the case of an MS-69 such as these.

These Graded Silver Eagles are graded by NGC who certify them with an MS-69 grade, meaning that their imperfections are difficult to see even under high-powered magnification. They are produced by the US Mint using blanks comprised of .999 fine silver that is vigorously tested for its quality and purity by the mint before it is used to produce Silver Eagles.

The obverse of these silver coins features the iconic image of Lady Liberty in her flowing robes striding towards a sun that is breaching the mountainous horizon. She is holding an olive branch in her left hand and outstretching her right arm in front of her. She is also draped with an American flag that is blowing in the wind. The US motto that is minted on all US coins, “IN GOD WE TRUST” is minted to the right of her, with the word “LIBERTY” minted with spaced out letters along the top of the coin. The coin’s year of “2020” will be minted at the very bottom.

The reverse of the American Silver Eagle features the iconic Heraldic Eagle design which is a bald eagle with a shield in front of it bearing 13 stripes. The eagle holds a banner in its beak featuring the words “E PLURIBUS UNUM”, and the eagle grasps a branch in one claw and arrows in the other. There are 13 stars above the eagle’s head, and above that are the words “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA”. Minted below the eagle are the words “1 OZ. FINE SILVER~ONE DOLLAR”.
