The Native American Mint has just released the new series called Revolution Series, a coin series dedicated to commemorating and honoring the events that occurred throughout the Revolutionary War's years. The first coin available is titled the 2021 1 oz  Battle of Alamance Proof Silver Coin.

 

The Battle of Alamance marked the end of the War of the Regulation, a rebellion in colonial North Carolina over taxation and local sovereignty. Many historians regard the conflict as the start of the American Revolutionary War.

This one troy ounce coin is struck with .999 silver with a proof finish. A proof finish gives the coin a mirror-like finish, giving the coin a beautiful appearance. The design of this coin depicts the Battle of Alamance. The obverse of the coin features multiple soldiers lined up in a wooded forest with their muskets pointed. The words “Battle of Alamance” and “1771-2021” are inscribed on this face.

 

The reverse of this coin features the renowned Liberty Tree. The Liberty Tree stood in Boston and was a commonplace of rallying among troops. The words “America” are inscribed above the tree, and the “$1” denomination is listed in the bottom right corner.
