This one-ounce proof coin is struck with .9999 pure silver and features a gold-plated rim that creates a rich contrast in colors and design. This unique coin is concave in order to resemble the pan used when panning for gold during the gold rush. It was every person’s dream to find the gold at the bottom of their pan, represented by the gold nuggets found in the center of the coin’s design. 

The reverse face features the coin’s title “Klondike 1896-2021” and issuing country of “Canada.” The obverse face, the convex surface, features the classic effigy of Queen Elizabeth II and the face value of 25 Dollars. Lastly, the words “D.G. Regina” are featured on this face, meaning “by the grace of God, Queen” in Latin.
