The Royal Canadian Mint is not only known for its world-famous Silver Maple Leaf Coin, but also for its unique numismatic pieces like this one as well! Struck with .9999 fine silver, this one-ounce coin has a proof finish. This means that the design is featured with contrasting frosted finishes to add depth to the detailed design. Each gorgeous coin is shipped in a black clamshell with a black beauty box. 

The 2021 1 oz Canadian Wreath of Remembrance Proof Silver Coin is struck with a limited worldwide mintage of 7,500 coins. Each coin is backed by the Canadian Government, issuing a $20 face value to each coin. 

Design:

This colorized silver coin is a gorgeous depiction of a Wreath of Remembrance. Each reverse face features a wreath of red-colored poppies surrounding a banner depicting the traditional Canadian Maple leaf. The banner features the word “CANADA” and “2021.” Forget-me-nots are featured in the background of the scene. Lastly, the initials of the Canadian artist who designed the coin, Caitlin Lindstrom-Milne, can be found in the bottom right. 

The obverse face features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II originally depicted by Susanna Blunt. Included on this face is the face value of $20.
