Purchase a 1 oz Diwali Silver Gilded Medallion from SD Bullion today!

SD Bullion now offers the 1 oz Diwali Silver Gilded Medallion. Diwali is India’s most important holiday of the year and is often referred to as the “festival of lights.” Dating back thousands of years, Diwali is celebrated by Hindus. The five-day celebration, which is observed by millions of people in India and throughout the world, symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil. The yearly festival kicks off the Hindu New Year in October or November, with the date shifting according to the Hindu lunar calendar. You can now celebrate Diwali with this decorative new silver medallion!

Struck by the Perth Mint, this one-ounce medallion contains .9999 pure silver. Each coin contains intricate elements gilded in 24 Karat gold. The silver and gold complement each other to create a gorgeous design with great detail. Each medallion is housed in a case with a decorative covering and a Certificate of Authenticity (COA).

Design:

The reverse face of the medallion features a decorative depiction of important Hindu symbols. Lakshmi, one of the principal goddesses in Hinduism, is seen sitting on a lotus flower, representing enlightenment. Ganesha is depicted to the right of the goddess. Together, the two are surrounded by artistic elements of fireworks and gilded accents in the coins, sweets, lamps, and headdresses seen in the picture.

The obverse face has a rangoli-inspired design with Diya and lotus motifs.

This medallion makes for a perfect gift or addition to a numismatic collection! Add the 1 oz Diwali Silver Gilded Medallion to your cart today!
