Introducing an electrifying new coin, the 2021 1 oz Fender Stratocaster Silver Coin, now available at SD Bullion. This incredibly unique coin will enhance any collection as it is a special limited mintage product of just 2500 coins! To celebrate the 75th anniversary of Fender® Company, PAMP Suisse partnered with Fender® to create this beautiful coin that will be one of two releases in the series. The second release will feature the Telecaster® guitar.

 

This one-ounce silver coin is the first-ever officially licensed Fender® shaped legal tender coin. The one-ounce coin struck with .9999 fine silver is shaped as a Fender® Stratocaster Guitar. Initially designed in 1952-1954, this guitar was the first Fender® release to feature three pickups and a spring tension vibrato system, making this one of the world’s most popular electric guitars. Music was transformed everywhere because of the incredible sound from this instrument. This unique coin comes in a themed presentation box, as well as in a custom plastic capsule. A Certificate of Authenticity accompanies the coin.

 

The reverse has been colorized in black and white to closely resemble the Eric Clapton Stratocaster® style currently featured in the Fender catalog. The Fender® 75th Anniversary logo appears on the bottom left of the guitar's frame, while the white pickguard features the coin’s weight and purity.

 

The obverse features the classic effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the issuing country of Solomon Islands. The face value, 2 Dollars, is inscribed on the neck of the guitar.  The body also features the year of issue and the serial number specific to the coin.
