The  2021 2 oz Laos Lunar Jade Year of the Ox Silver Coin offers customers a unique design featuring both silver, gold, and real jade. This legal tender coin is struck in two ounces of 99.9% fine silver and features an intricate depiction of an ox in the middle of the reverse, surrounded by a ring of natural jade and coated with selective 24-karat gold plating. The 24K Gold plated ox on the 2 oz Silver coin is surrounded by a ring made of real green Jade. The combination of the three different elements makes for an incredibly beautiful piece. 

 

The obverse side features the Laotian Coat of Arms with the year of issue, the face value (2000  Kip), the weight (2 oz), and the purity (.999). This gorgeous proof 2021 Laos Two-Ounce Silver Lunar Ox coin was made from hand-selected planchets and polished dies to create beautiful details on the mirror-like fields of the coin. This coin has a low worldwide mintage at just 2,888 coins, reflective of the lucky number “8” in Chinese culture.
