Aimed at collectors who prefer an ‘antiqued’ finish to the sheen of the freshly minted variety, this 2018 1 oz Silverbug Island Leviathan silver round is the 5th release in the famous series run by the North American Mint.


Rounds in this series are released with designs inspired by the Silverbugs Reddit community, which is a popular community of those who appreciate tangible assets and silver as an investible and collectible precious metal.


Each silver round is minted using pure 0.999 silver with a weight of 1 troy ounce. Moreover, the antique finish imparts an aged, regal look that appeals to some collectors.


In addition to the weight and purity of the silver in the round, a wrecked pirate ship, overflowing with treasure is depicted on the reverse.
