Created and designed by the Silverbug community for the Silverbug community, this stunning coin tells the tale of the search for Silverbug Island and our community's love of Pirate Silver Treasure. Each round contains 1 troy oz .999 fine silver.


There’s nothing quite like silver for protecting your wealth and hedging your portfolio against devaluation. While you can (and probably should) put some of your money into government-issued coins like the American Silver Eagle, many investors also like silver rounds because they are usually priced closer to the silver spot price and do not carry any sentimental value.


The Silverbug Island Mermaid 1 oz silver BU round is a good place to start, whether you’re a seasoned investor looking to diversify your holdings, or you’re just getting started. This round contains a full troy ounce of .999 fine silver, and is in Brilliant Uncirculated condition.


The obverse features a sunken ship surrounded by marine life. An elegantly realized mermaid swims in front, holding open a treasure chest. On the lid are the words Hold It Own It. The issue date is located to the right.


The reverse features the image of Silverbug Island, an island made of silver coins, as well as a sailing ship with coins at the prow. The words Welcome to Silverbug Island are embossed across the top, with the coin’s purity and silver content noted at the bottom.
